Karel Škréta was probably the most important painter of Bohemia in the 17 th century. The exhibition of his works consisted of two parts. One was installed in the baroque Riding hall of Waldstein Pallace in Prague and the second one in the Riding hall of the Castle of Prague.
Philosophical meaning of the architectural design of the exhibition: The architecture of concave and convex curves is dominating in a vista of the symbolically shaped „baroque scenery“.
Philosophical mening of the architectural design of the exhibition: Ehxibition panels are formed into the shape of the symbolic „baroque garden“ (Giardinetto). There is a vista ended by the cylindrical mass, reminding by its shape sacral or chateau like architecture, typical for the baroque period.
